Pressure filters, for low, medium and high pressures, are often used in hydraulic systems. Most pressure filters have a bypass valve so that the filter element is not damaged if it is contaminated or if the oil flow exceeds the filter capacity. When pressure filters are applied immediately after a pump, they protect all users and components against dirt and wear.
